态度、玩、快乐和投入/Attitude, Play, Happiness and Devotion

我在联邦快递已经工作了3年。工作强度很大，可我一直很快乐。我的理想是让客户享用联邦快递无与伦比的服务，同时自己可以品味派克街鱼市的精髓：那就是A、选择自己的态度；B、玩；C、让别人快乐；和D、投入。

首先，选择自己的态度。

我在外，手机是与公司联系的唯一方式。一路上电话不断，站里的，400客服中心的，还有客户催促收派件的,说得口干舌燥。 虽然又渴又累，我牢记着自己代表联邦快递。即使喉咙象冒烟一般的疼痛，也要与工业园区、公寓的保安热情打招呼，“你好!”，“谢谢！”。保安们每次看到我来，也许被我风风火火的架势所感染，一改平日的休闲状态，迅速地给我打开门，让我争取到一点时间。

其次，寓工作于娱乐。
也许在很多人看来，快递员的工作非常枯燥。我们要不停地开车，不停的搬货。对我而言，这恰恰相反，在联邦快递工作就象是在玩一样，非常开心。
没有哪一个行业的接触面有物流业这么广。每天都有来自不同行业、各式各样的包裹通过联邦快递运送到世界各地。从天上飞的飞机零件，到海里穿梭的潜艇配件；从婴幼儿的早期教育期刊，到高科技的生物技术产品；从老太太吃的保健品，到年轻潮人们的iPhone4。经常，我会忘掉自己是在工作，仿佛置身于大英博物馆，体味着世界的博大精深。时间过得飞快，即使加班也是如此。

第三，让别人快乐
一位现金客户寄件，10KG箱面只装了2件衣服。我热情地建议客户，箱子没有装满会被压扁，下雨还容易把衣服淋湿，要不我们把衣服装防水袋里？客户表示默许，接着我一边麻利地帮客户换包装，一边和客户解释，联邦快递用汽车运输，比用电动车运输安全性要高。客户逐渐被我诚恳的态度以及熟练、专业的操作打动，索要了一张价格单，并承诺以后他们公司寄送快件全部用联邦快递。

最后，做一名投入的员工
一天，我在下班高峰期遇到堵车，前面的车辆在缓慢地挪动。我大概算了一下车上剩的包裹数和点数，发现不能等到通车了，否则今天的货件就派不完了。我立刻把车开到就近的小区停好。由于车装满货，没有装推车的空间。我就只有抱着20KG的包裹一路小跑到各个客户处。最终，我把包裹都准时送达了。

我是贾志强，I am Fedex.

It has been three years since I joined FedEx. The work has been intense, but I am happy. My ideal is to provide customers with an outstanding FedEx experience, and at the same time, to enjoy the essence of the Pike Street Fish Market, which is A, to choose my own attitude; B, to play; C, to make others happy; and D, to be devoted.

First, I choose my own attitude.

When I am out of the office, my mobile phone is the only way to stay in touch with the company. I am constantly getting calls from the station, from the 400 Call Center, and from customers who want a delivery or pick-up. I talk til I am blue in the face. Although I am thirsty and tired, I remember that I represent FedEx. Even when my throat hurts like I have been smoking, I still provide a warm "Hello!" or "Thank you!" to the security staff in the industrial park or apartments. I am conscious of how they are affected by my rushed state. They jump up and open doors for me when they see me, so that I can be a little bit faster.

Second, I want to play.

To many people, the job of a courier may be very boring. We continuously drive and move packages. For me, my job at FedEx is like being paid to play, so I am very happy.

There is no other industry like the logistics industry, which has a wide contact range. All kinds of packages from different industries are delivered to destinations around the world through FedEx every day, from components for aircraft flying in the sky to parts for submarines shuttling in the sea; from early education journals to high-tech biotechnology products; from health care products for the old to the iPhone4 for the young. I often forget that I am working because I am experiencing a broad and profound world as if I had stayed in the British Museum. Time passes quickly, even if there is overtime.

Third, I want to make others happy

A customer of a cash settlement sent two articles of clothing, but used a 10 kg box. I told the customer that the box would be compressed if it was not full and the clothing would get wet if it rained. I recommended putting the clothes into a FedEx waterproof bag. The customer agreed. While I changed the customer’s packaging, I explained that FedEx uses automobiles for delivery, which ensures a higher safety level than using a motorcycle. The customer was moved by my sincere attitude and skilled, professional manner, so he asked for our price list, and promised to ship all his company's packages by FedEx in the future.

And last, I want to be a devoted employee.

One day I got stuck in a traffic jam during rush hour. The vehicles moved slowly in front of me. I roughly calculated the quantity of packages remaining in my truck and the places I needed to be and decided that I could not wait, otherwise the packages would not be delivered on time. I drove the truck into the nearest residential area and parked it. Because the truck was full of packages, I had no cart. This meant that I had to run holding packages weighing about 20kg to each of my customers, one-by-one. In the end though, I did get my packages delivered on time!
