FedEx Fits My View on Life

A couple years ago, having held various positions in several transport and logistics companies, it was time for me to find the company that would fit my view of life at work. I was looking for a positive working environment, which motivated me to send my resume to FedEx. I waited one year and was offered to work in the Paris region.

Although I lived in Northern France, I decided to give it a try and joined FedEx as a courier in July 2010. I was very fortunate to do pick-ups and deliveries in the beautiful downtown Paris quarter, driving a brand new electric vehicle. I worked nearly one year from the Saint-Ouen station operations which was my base. Later, I was very lucky to have the possibility to apply for a position in Northern France which would bring me closer to my friends and family. I was not expecting such a great opportunity and grabbed it when it happened.

I am now a courier at the Lille station in the north of France. I like my station for the close relationship we have with the management team and the fact we can easily work out solutions to satisfy our customers in the best possible way. Working for FedEx, I have found the company and the team spirit I was looking for.
