I am FedEx. I am a 23 year Courier at the Fort Wayne, Indiana (FWAA) station.
My goal is to not only provide the Purple Promise at work, but to also support my customers by participating in their community sponsored events. I also get involved in public service projects that I organize in the community.
Each and every day I work to do something in our community to help my customers - the people of my community. And my fellow FedEx employees know that I care.
That's what being a team player is all about. Making the customer happy by providing great service, and showing support through community involvement.
FedEx gives me the desire to be the best at home, in our community and at work.
I am involved in supporting those that serve in the military by organizing military appreciation events nationwide. I also work with other military support groups in my community and around the country.
My work with the military and their families resulted in my being invited to breakfast at The White House with President Bush, and his entire cabinet.
I also am a Tea Party organizer and speaker. The first Tea Party that I organized had over 2000 in attendance, and Dr. Alan Keyes was the keynote speaker.
As a result of my work with The Americans for Prosperity Foundation I received the "Activist of the Year" award for 2010 on July 23, 2010 in Las Vegas, NV. The Governor of The State of Indiana also proclaimed me as a "Distinguished Hoosier" for my community involvement. A Flag was flown in my honor over Fallujah, Iraq, by the U.S. Marines.
I am FedEx, and I get involved to make this country and my community a better place.
