Contributing to Local Youth Organizations (Express and Ground)

Fedex Ground in Aztec New Mexico and Fedex Express in Durango Colorado came together to help reduce cost for youth athletics. Ground managers, contractors, and Express drivers made time on a Saturday to help at a local car wash. Our efforts were put forth to reduce costs associated with YAFL, the Young American Football League. Children need an opportunity to play and compete. YAFL provides structure, team work, group goals, and competition. Athletic participation can be hindered by the cost of uniforms, field fees, and referees just to name a few. FedEx not only put forth matching funds for the car wash, we also put ourselves on the line. Ground and Express worked collectively to give back to the community..
