It's such a support to hear
It's such a support to hear someone else's story and know that we are not alone. I have been caring for my daughter for 33 yrs. One thing I find difficult is finding the time to look into support and aid in further reseach. I would like to see a team of advocates that help with calls, paperwork, and provide follow-up feedback direct, etc.
This is a very common life for many and I extend my sincere acknowledgement to all of you for being such a BLESSING!

Thank you for sharing your story. We need this kind of awareness. I'm the single mom of a 22 year old daughter with cerebral palsy quadriplegia. I agree with everything you say. Let me add one thing. In the 10 years I've been with FedEx Express I've been blessed with understanding managers. That counts for a lot when you have a special needs family member.
