Hi, my name is Sharon Mann. I work as a sorter in the matrix at the Indy hub and I love my job because it is very fast paced and energetic. It gives me a great sense of satisfaction to know that I am a part of FedEx, part of a team that gets the job done. I work with a lot of wonderful people here and it takes everyone working together as a team and I believe we have the best. My job not only keeps me in good physical condition, it also allows me to work on my music in my leisure time. I love to play my guitar and sing gospel music. I write and sing gospel music and have three songs published and recorded at Hilltop Records in California, which is a great accomplishment for me. I really love doing charity benefits for people who need help with medical bills the most. This past memorial weekend, I helped with a benefit for a twelve year old girl that has leukemia. She needed another bone marrow transplant and we raised the money to help her get it. I also help my local church in our community with their songfest every month. The money from it goes to our outreach program and our food pantry to help the less fortunate in our neighborhood. I thank God for my gift and allowing me to be able to give back to the people in a very special way. I also thank you FedEx for letting me be a part of the Purple Promise. I am FedEx.
